Mark began his language journey studying French and German at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom, including a very happy year of language immersion near France's famous D-Day beaches and then by the beautiful Lake Constance, nestled at the foot of the Alps, between Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

It was in college that he discovered his love for his future vocation in translation, which he pursued with postgraduate studies at the University of Leeds.

Mark has held a variety of roles in the language services industry, starting with 10 years as a German technical translator, followed by 4 years in a client-side localization role, and most recently 3 years as a translation/localization project manager.
