GLS offers a full range of language interpreting services, from over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI) to on-site interpretation (OSI) in courtrooms and for high-level conferences and meetings. On-Site Consecutive Interpretation

Simultaneous interpretation takes place in real-time, using specially-trained, two-person interpreter teams working together and broadcasting their voice to an audience wearing wireless headsets. This type of interpretation is often referred to as real-time or conference interpretation. GLS coordinates with trusted vendors to provide specialized equipment, including booths and maintenance support, as needed, to support multilingual simultaneous interpretation events at various venues. Examples of types of simultaneous interpretation events that GLS supports includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Conference interpretation
  • International conventions
