Global Language Strategies is proud to recognize Gerhard Preisser as our Linguist in the Spotlight for the third quarter of 2026, honoring his dedication, expertise, and contributions to our team.

A valued GLS linguist team member since 2020, Gerhard brings more than 30 years of experience in translation, editing, and proofreading. A native German speaker with master’s degrees in English and German, he combines deep linguistic knowledge with expertise across technical disciplines, advertising, e-commerce, and law.

Since beginning his language services career in 1992, Gerhard has remained committed to continuous learning and advancing his profession. An active member of the American Translators Association since 1997, he has attended and presented at conferences and contributed articles to professional publications, sharing his knowledge and engaging with developments across the industry.

His dedication, versatility, and wealth of experience make him an asset to GLS and the clients we serve. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring his passion for cooking and discovering wineries with his wife throughout Virginia and beyond.
