Denise Grimsley

Interpretation Project Manager

Denise Franco Grimsley has enjoyed a career as a professional linguist for more than 15 years. Native to Brazil, she has worked as a professional Translator and Interpreter in both Portuguese and Spanish languages. Denise earned her certificate as an Interpreter from the University of New Orleans with a specialization in medical and legal interpretation. She is a court-certified Interpreter registered with the LA Supreme Court and a Certified Immigration Federal Court Interpreter.

Some of Denise's primary clients have included, but are not limited to, the following: the Children's Advocacy Center, FEMA, Department of Health and Human Services, the University of New Orleans' Latin American Studies, and several US government and non-profit organizations. She plans to continue her education as a Master Conference Interpreter and Community Interpreter as well as become expert in the use of translation management tools. Denise is a high-energy and passionate linguist who advocates for language access and language justice for all.
