1st Quarter 2025 Spotlight Awardees

Linguist in the Spotlight 1st Quarter:

We’re proud to recognize Tonya Hayes as our Linguist in the Spotlight 1st Quarter 2025! Tonya has been an invaluable part of our team for nearly two years, bringing over 17 years of experience in the language translation industry. Her journey into the world of translation began during a three-year stay in Japan where she worked as an assistant English teacher. While there, Tonya deepened her passion for language by writing newsletter articles in Japanese and translating documents into English—experiences that sparked her enduring interest in translation.

Upon returning to the United States, Tonya took that passion to the next level by enrolling in Kent State University’s graduate program in Japanese to English translation. Her dedication to continuous learning, cultural insight, and linguistic precision is reflected in every project she takes on. Tonya’s work ethic, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to excellence enrich our team and inspire those around her. When Tonya is not working hard, she enjoys spending time with her husband taking walks; she also loves sketching, playing video games and taking care of her two cats. We’re truly fortunate to have her on board.

Congratulations, Tonya—and thank you for everything you bring to our community!
